The @AshdenAwards 2016 are now open for applications. Ashden is a charity that champions and supports sustainable energy projects across the world, and the UK schools section may be of interest to institutions that are developing sustainable energy projects of their own. All winners receive prize money (4 winners in this section share a £10,000 prize fund), national exposure, and also tailored support to develop their ideas further.
So, if any schools out there can demonstrate real achievements in making their buildings and grounds more sustainable, and can demonstrate the integration of sustainability into school culture and curriculum – this may be worth a look.
